Ghent

Lonely Planet has called our city “Europe’s best kept secret” and a must see destination for 2011 and National Geographic Traveler Magazine has listed Ghent as the most authentic historic city in the world and full of life.

Ghent breathes history but is also brimming with culture and modern city life. Its history, art, wonderful architecture, water, rock ’n roll top gastronomy and joie de vivre are sure to win you over.

De Krook

De Krook is the new city library of Ghent, but is much more than that. It’s also home to several research groups of Ghent University, the university radio station Urgent.fm and imec, a leading technological research center and birthplace for start-ups.
